The conversion of data into different formats is a central part of the EDI process: as a rule, communication between individual business partners requires a translator, which converts the data to be transmitted into a format that the addressee can read. This module fulfils this purpose. It enables the conversion of any input format to any output format (e.g., IDoc to XML or XML to EDIFACT, flat file, ZUGFeRD, etc.). Once the data has been converted, the documents are either made directly available to the recipient or go through further process steps before they are finally sent.
Two requirements are particularly important when converting the data: high flexibility in terms of the possible file formats, and near real-time speed when it comes to the processing or transmission.
eTransform can be used in the cloud-based "SaaS" (Software as a Service) operator model.
